Course Objectives:
  • Students completing CHLD 74 - Program Planning for the School Age Child will be able to assess, develop, and implement enrichment activities rin group care setting that support healthy development of school-age children in all areas of development.
  • Students completing CHLD 74 - Program Planning for the School Age Child will be able to articulate methods of guidance and discipline and relationship building appropriate for school-age children participating in school age care programs.
  • Students completing CHLD 74 - Program Planning for the School Age Child will be able to identify and utilize community resources to support school age care programs.
  • Students completing CHLD 74 - Program Planning for the School Age Child will be able to analyze principles of human development theories as they relate to the school-age child's growth and development.
